The Momofuku Guide to Noodle Toppings Content
We think our Momofuku Dried Noodles are great on their own. Each comes with a sauce packet to add flavor to your noodles. But if you want to level up your experience, here are a few ideas for things we like to add on top: everything from the pickle recipe we use at Noodle Bar to our favorite soft boiled eggs and extremely easy meatballs if you want protein.

Momofuku Seasoned Salts & Chili Crunch
Our Seasoned Salts make excellent finishing salts. Add Tingly to give your noodles a tangy Sichuan peppercorn punch or Spicy for an extra hit of heat. Or, drizzle everything with our Momofuku Chili Crunch.
Scallions and Fresh Herbs
Chopped scallions, especially the green parts, or fresh herbs, such as cilantro, would be especially good on top of your noodles.
Leafy greens like bok choy or kale are great sauteed with some Tingly Seasoned Salt in olive oil. Or, slice mushrooms and sautée them until they are crispy with Savory Seasoned Salt.
Eggs Two Ways
For soft boiled eggs, boil eggs gently for 6 minutes 30 seconds then immediately plunge into an ice bath until completely cool. Peel under running water for easier peeling.
For crispy fried eggs, crack the egg over hot oil in a skillet on high heat. Cook until the edges are crispy, spooning oil over the whites to help them cook through.
These easy pickles are great for adding a bit of crunch and freshness to your noodles. Both kirby cucumbers or jalapeños work great—but you could easily do these with small onions and other peppers.
These pickles are a staple on our Ginger Scallion Noodles at Momofuku Noodle Bar. We often use a mix of carrots and cauliflower.
Easy Choose-Your-Adventure Meatballs
Our meatball recipe works with any meat you want—and bonus: if you want to make a bigger batch and freeze them, you can easily bake them from frozen. Just add a few minutes to your cooking time and be sure to check for doneness with a meat thermometer.
